Why An Autoresponder Is A Must Have For Internet Marketing

Anybody that has an advanced email marketing campaign in place needs to think about getting an autoresponder program to help them out. An email marketing campaign is a great way to increase business, and make your website more visible; but they can also be a lot of work if you do not have everything set up properly.
If you have an email marketing campaign in place, but find yourself asking “what is an autoresponder” you will want to look into its benefits right away. Simply put, an autoresponder is a computer program that automatically answers email that is sent to you. Just think about how much time you spend answering emails. With an autoresponder you will be able to cut back on a lot of it, which will save you time and allow you to work on other areas of your business.
The first autoresponders were not nearly as complex as the ones that are used by many businesses today. In today’s day and age if you have an aggressive email marketing campaign you will definitely want to have an autoresponder program. In the past, if you were going to use email marketing as a promotion tool you would need to be online a lot to ensure that you provided quick answers to potential clients, etc.
The answer to the question “why autoresponders are important” is quite simple. They will allow you to quickly answer your client’s questions and comments without having to personally go into your email account to do so. By not having to personally answer questions you will ensure that everybody is getting the same quick and efficient service.
But one thing that you have to be careful of when using autoresponders is SPAM. If you set your autoresponder to send out messages every so often you will want to make sure that the recipients do not mind. You never want to SPAM anybody, because it can give your business a bad name. Before you start sending out messages make sure that you have permission from everybody on your list. This makes everything much easier in the long run, and also protects you if somebody decides to bring a SPAM complaint against you.
Handling SPAM complaints can be a touchy subject and should be approached professionally. If you are accused of this, be sure to take quick action and ensure the other party that you will no longer contact them.
Overall, any email marketing campaign can benefit from the use of an autoresponder. If you do not have one in place you will definitely want to look into the advantages that it can provide you. Just make sure you do not SPAM anybody, and your new autoresponder will make your business run much more smoothly.

What is a conversion tracker?
A conversion tracker is a piece of code that enables advertisers track the number of people who take a specific action.
How is this related to Facebook advertising?
When someone clicks on your ad on Facebook and you have installed the new tracking code on your website, you will now get the results of how many people took a particular action.
That action could be purchasing products, signing up to a newsletter or any other measurable action on your website.
Your return on investmentJust like in the real world, you need to track your ROI on your marketing dollars. Advertising on Facebook should be no different.
That is why I believe advertisers will take Facebook marketing more seriously and increase their ad spend with Facebook.
Many businesses advertise in a number of places on the Internet. Results need to be measured.
My issues with the tracking code
One issue is that it can only track one action. If you installed the tracking code on your newsletter thank you page, each person that signs up would be counted as a conversion.
If you also installed it on your shopping cart thank you page, this would also be counted as a conversion.
You can obviously see that these two types of conversions have very different values and provide a different return on investment for your marketing dollars.
Google Analytics is a little bit smarter where you can provide a dollar value for each action performed. It can read the amount that your customer purchased and add that to your conversion value.
